My name is William F. Johnson, and I am a CRA Community Lender located in Indianapolis, Indiana. I joined Horizon Bank in 2020, bringing with me 35 years of combined experience in the banking and mortgage industry. Throughout my career, I have worked in various roles, including Loan Officer, Business Banker, and Financial Center Manager.
As a Community Lender, I am passionate about providing financial support to low- and moderate-income communities, helping families achieve homeownership, and offering grant opportunities for both families and small businesses. I also focus on community outreach to ensure that those who need assistance can access the resources available to them.
I am a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, a proud graduate of Broad Ripple High School, and a former U.S. Army officer who served for nine years, resigning my commission as 1st Lieutenant. I attended Indiana University and currently maintain affordable housing partnerships with key organizations in Central Indiana to advocate for low- and moderate-income borrowers.
