Horizon Bank Goes Above and Beyond to Support Local Organizations in LaPorte County
Michigan City, Indiana – In celebration of Horizon Bank’s newly remodeled downtown LaPorte branch, Horizon Bank is excited to announce the launch of a new nonprofit initiative—“Choose Your Charity”—a community-driven effort designed to highlight and reward the impactful work of local long standing nonprofit organizations.
Starting on October 18th community members are invited to cast their votes for their favorite LaPorte County non-profit organization. The competition will run through November 8th with voting taking place online at horizonbank.com/BeyondInLP. The non-profit that receives the most votes will be awarded a $2,500 donation, while second-place will receive $1,500, and third-place $1,000. These donations will be presented during a special event at the LaPorte branch in November.
The competition features several deserving non-profit organizations, each going beyond to improve the lives of LaPorte County residents in various ways. This is a chance for the community to rally behind these organizations and show their support through a simple yet powerful action—voting.

Choose your favorite non-profit from the list of participating organizations.
Submit your vote and encourage friends, family, and other community members to do the same by sharing the competition on social media using the hashtag #BeyondInLP
