Horizon Bank Awards Scholarships to Students in Benton Harbor
Michigan City, Indiana – The Horizon Bank Minority Scholarship Program awarded two students from Benton Harbor, Michigan with a $1,000 scholarship.
Recipients of the Horizon Bank Minority Scholarship are Madison Collins and Anijah Dancer. After graduation, Madison, who won Miss Benton Harbor in 2023, will be attending Western Michigan University and Anijah will be attending Howard University in Washington, DC.

Horizon’s Diversity Business Council developed the Minority Scholarship Program to encourage minority students to pursue higher educations. The scholarships awarded were based on academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, and potential.
