What You Should Know About the Paycheck Protection Program From the SBA

Woman discussing business with man

A Small Business Administration (SBA) loan can help businesses keep their workforce employed during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis through The Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

PPP offers an emergency fund to assist with cash flow and is currently available through March 31, 2021. This is a federally guaranteed loan program designed for employers during this crisis. PPP has a host of attractive features, including loan forgiveness if the funds are used for payroll costs, interest on mortgages, rent, and utilities. There are no SBA fees, and these loans have a deferral period of at least ten (10) months.
